 Jordan Jelev — the prize-winner of the National Vine and Wine Chamber Contest for Graphic Design of Wine Labels
We have recently told about Jordan Jelev, a new participant of the project, well-known far beyond Bulgaria as the author of famous Bulgarian wines. In the international design circles he is known as Labelmaker, the “label master”. The key peculiarity of his artworks which differs his calligraphy from the majority of artworks by the contemporary designers is the exquisite handmade script, the specimen of original and highly artistic calligraphy.
We have just got a happy piece of news from Bulgaria saying that Jordan Jelev won the first prize at the National Vine and Wine Chamber Contest for Graphic Design of Wine Labels in Sophia, Bulgaria.
Moreover, the first thing the honored jury emphasized was the originality and warmth of the style based on the handwritten fonts.
