The 5th International Exhibition of Calligraphy is open!

Today at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy a gala opening of the exhibition was held. The event was attended by: famous calligraphers, embassies representatives, educational and cultural specialists.

The head of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy project and President of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre Alexey Shaburov delivered a welcoming address to the participants and guests of the exhibition. Participants were also cheered by the co-organizer of the exhibition and the director of Sokolniki Park Andrei Lapshin and President of the National Union of Calligraphers Petr Chobitko. They highlighted the relevance of the theme of the exhibition "Thinking about the motherland" and noted the positive dynamics of the development of the project. For the first time , the exhibition has reached such a high level and attracted representatives of calligraphic schools from 52 countries to Russia.
