Language of Pushkin and Lermontov, Turgenev and Tolstoy, Mayakovsky and Tsvetaeva - Russian language - is very beautiful in its form and content. Russian language is incredibly flexible, lively and beautiful.
The media has been actively discussing the reduction of "quality of language", but this is incorrect. What reduces is the level of possession, but not the language! An intelligent person would never misuse grammatical forms and stresses. And it always will be so.
The Project Organizing committee actively supports those who stand for maintaining of the norms of Russian language. And this is no accident. The beauty of writing lies not only in the graceful lines, but also in the literacy of content.
An informal and non-profit project "Culture of writing" (www.gramma.ru) provides an active support to the International Exhibition of Calligraphy which purpose is to assist in learning the norms of modern Russian literary language and skills to improve oral and written speech.
