Calligraphy at the North Pole again

January 29, 2010

The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and MVK International Exhibition Company took part in the corporate event of the largest IT companies dedicated to the North Pole exploration.

The event took place in the Podmoskovnaya Sloboda VIP vacation retreat. MVK International Exhibition Company provided a 1937 analogue polar tent (the one which MVK erected at NP in 2007) and archive newspapers containing the articles of the past expeditions. In addition to the polar exposition the tent represented the International Exhibition of Calligraphy. The representatives of IT corporations eagerly followed the exhibition presentation and gave positive feedbacks to the MVK social projects. Many of them were surprised to hear the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy was in Moscow and promised to come and see the unique items personally. On behalf of Alexey Shaburov, the General Manager of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, the department heads of Hewlett-Packard and Intel (the show’s organizers) were presented the calligraphy catalogues.
